SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model) is a calculation used to ensure compliance with Building Control Regulations Part F Northern Ireland. It is a calculation of the energy performance of new commercial buildings or large extensions to existing buildings.
All new commercial buildings require an SBEM calculation.
Our service covers both the As Designed SBEM assessment and the As-Built SBEM assessment. Information is taken from Architects drawings and evaluation is done. Advice is then given on what changes are required to get Building Control Compliance.
From the As-Built SBEM Assessment, an On-Construction EPC can be generated.
